We welcome school groups – educating children about apples, bees, and farming!
School tours are typically offered mid-August through November and are for ages ranging from Pre-K to 3rd grade. Allow one hour for your tour.
We also have a program for home school groups to accommodate a variety of age ranges. Home school tours are normally scheduled in the afternoon.
Tours Include
- A walking tour of the apple orchard guided by Johnny Appleseed. Johnny will provide a historical education of his life.
- Observe honey bee hives and learn about the honey bees.
- Visit barnyard animals.
- Sample apple cider and apple cider donuts.
- Teachers will be given apples to take back to the classroom.
- Picnic area is available for after tour lunch.
Tour Information
- Tours are given Tuesday-Friday.
- Morning tours start at 10:00 and afternoon tours start at 1:00. If you need a different start time, please request.
- Cost is $8.00 per student. No charge for teachers and parents.
- Minimum 25 students per reservation
- Payment 2 weeks in advance
*Tours are given rain or shine! This is an outdoor activity.
